Check Marc vote for M.E. in the Primary Election May 15

Kootenai County voters elected me to serve as their commissioner for District 1 in 2014. Since then I have worked to lower taxes where possible, shrink government overreach, and make life better for our residents. This primary election on May 15, 2018 will have lasting consequences and your vote will ensure that I am able to continue serving you.

My goal as your commissioner is to protect property rights, ensure fiscal responsibility, provide a fair balance between public and private sector salaries, and build trust in county government through accountability and transparency.

How do we achieve these goals? As commissioner I have worked closely with other county officials to create a Land Use Ordinance that maintains property rights. I voted against tax increases in 2015, 2017 and plan to do so again in 2018 (un-affordable Obamacare whacked us hard in 2016). I sought to save taxpayers tens of millions of dollars by utilizing the fund balance to finish the jail as originally designed rather than a new jail at massive costs. More recently I voted to simplify the building process by giving residents the ability to opt out of getting a building permit. I am continually looking for ways to save our tax dollars and make government run better.

Our children, grandchildren and beyond deserve to enjoy the freedom that makes America what it is.

With your support, help and vote, I am now a Kootenai County commissioner. Please remember me in your prayers so as to serve you well.

Best regards,

Marc Eberlein
